They say love finds you when you least expect it — and for us, it started with two Frenchies and a few swipes on Hinge.

What began as a few exchanged messages quickly turned into late-night conversations about life, love and of course, our dogs. Tony had his lovable Frenchie-bully mix, Keisha and I had my charming Frenchie, Gizmo.

It didn’t take long for us to realize that between us (and our pups) were the makings of something special. Our first date was in Walnut Creek — the perfect halfway point between Sacramento and San Francisco — and from that moment, we both knew this connection was different. What started as curiosity grew into comfort and comfort blossomed into love.

Over the next three years, we built a life filled with laughter, adventure and plenty of "urban hikes" aka dog walks. We discovered our shared love for Niners football, Giants games, comedy clubs, concerts and simple, quiet nights just hanging out with Keisha and Gizmo.

On May 10, 2025 on the beautiful sands of Monterey Beach, Tony asked me to marry him — and between the sound of the ocean waves and the joy in that moment, the answer was an easy yes.

We were once connected by a bridge and now our souls are forever entwined. Now, we can’t wait to begin our forever surrounded by the people we love most who have been part of our journey from the start.
